Sanitation

Sanitation programme was started in 1993 through establishing Village Sanitation Centre. Motivation activities were also undertaken for community people to use sanitary toilet. 5 villages have been brought under cent percent sanitation coverage. Besides, 5,950 group members have been provided with sanitary latrines.

In funding support of the Water Aid Bangladesh, Shushilan has been implementing a sanitation project in the entire Shyamnagar upazila under the Asserting Sustainable Environmental Health (ASEH) program of Water Aid Bangladesh to ensure environmental sanitation and safe drinking water for the community people.
